Hans-Joerg Kolbe

Hans-Joerg Kolbe is a telecom industry professional with over 20 years of experience in designing and developing broadband networks, IT systems and innovative networking architectures.  Hans-Joerg specializes in bringing cloud-native solutions and disaggregation to broadband networks. Prior to joining Radisys, he spent 7 years at Deutsche Telekom where part of his work involved driving access disaggregation with the network and bringing software, automation, and cloud technology to the network edge. 

Hans-Joerg has held various management positions and is highly decorated having received numerous awards and honors, including two patent awards while at Deutsche Telekom and a three-time award recipient for standardization work while at NEC.  Hans-Joerg graduated from The Philipp University of Marburg, where he received a PhD in Physics and received an award for the best PhD thesis in Physics for that term (1998/1999).
