Jens Müller is Chief Finance Officer (CFO) at Deutsche Glasfaser. He is responsible for Finance with Accounting, Taxes, Controlling and Treasury as well as Capital Market Communications, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Facility and Legal. He is also responsible for the IPTV business, Investment Management and Enterprise Portfolio Management.
Jens Müller was appointed to Deutsche Glasfaser in January 2017 by the former majority shareholder KKR. Prior to that, he held leading positions in the consolidation of German cable networks: Most recently, as Chief Integration Officer, he was responsible for the acquisitions of TeleColumbus AG. Prior to this, Jens Müller was Managing Director and CFO of Primacom, responsible for the refinancing, restructuring and strategic acquisitions that ultimately enabled the takeover by TeleColumbus AG in 2015.
Before joining Primacom in 2014, Jens Müller was Managing Director and Co-CFO at Unitymedia in Cologne. There he contributed to the financial consolidation and finally the sale of the company to Liberty Global. At Unitymedia, he was promoted from his position as Financial Analyst to various other operational and financial functions and ultimatively to the Executive Board in 2010.
Jens Müller started his career as Financial Analysis Manager at the online supermarket LeShop and Controller at the telecommunications company Tele2. Jens Müller studied economics at the Ruhr University Bochum and Helsinki School of Economics & Business Administration. He had previously completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk.
Jens Müller is married, has three children and in his free time he is interested in sports, cooking, travelling, art and culture.
